About Us

This section is about us.

๐Ÿ‘‹ Hello, my name is Jess and I am a cat welfare advocate in South Jersey. Iโ€™ve always been an animal lover & officially became a cat loving lady after adopting my first cat 15+ years ago. Since then, I have adopted 3 more cats and have experience with kittens, adults, and senior cats through my experience as a cat mom and by volunteering &fostering for local shelters & rescues ๐Ÿˆ ๐Ÿˆโ€โฌ›โœ… Why choose me as your cat sitter? First, I know that cats are our family members & their people want to know their cats are safe & well cared for while they're away. Second, when I travel, I am often thinking about my cats & wondering what they're up to. I love getting updates about my furbabies when I'm away. It puts me at ease knowing that whoever is watching my cats is providing them with love โค๏ธ, food ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ—, water๐Ÿ’ง, and clean litterboxes ๐Ÿ’ฉ. As your cat sitter, I would keep these thoughts in mind & provide you with plenty of updates & pictures ๐Ÿ“ท from each visit.๐Ÿ’Š Does your cat need medication? If so, I may or may not be the most appropriate cat sitter for you depending on their medication routine. Contact me first before booking and I'm happy to help determine if I'm a good fit. Examples of my medicating experience include: solo cat that needs a medication mixed into their food or treat once a day who regularly eats the medication on their own OR a friendly, easy to handle kitty that needs eye or ear drops or an ointment or inhaler.๐ŸŒŸ Curious to hear more about what kind of experience I have with cats? Iโ€™ve been volunteering in the cattery at the Animal Orphanage in Voorhees since 2020 and can often be found socializing shelter kitties with all different purrsonalities. I love talking with potential adopters & providing education while they're on their search for their next 4 legged family member. My love for volunteering in the shelter inspired me to foster 10 kittens. Iโ€™ve fostered with both VAO and the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philly. In May 2026, I expanded my volunteer skills and am now an Adoptions Counselor with Tiny Life Rescue, which focuses on finding forever homes for kittens and mama cats. I also love supporting community cats & TNRing efforts. Iโ€™m a proud supporter of Pennsauken Community Cats & find their all volunteer grassroots group important, inspiring work in the cat welfare world.๐Ÿ’– Additionally, I am a big fan of both Jackson Galaxy & the Kitten Lady. Both cat advocate celebrities have such great information available to cat lovers and I often watch their YouTube videos for fun.My own kitties & my former fosters each have very distinct purrsonalities, which has taught me a lot! From snuggly cuddle bugs ๐Ÿค— to shy standoff-ish kitties ๐Ÿซฃ to spicy cats ๐Ÿ˜ˆ, Iโ€™ve experienced them all and am happy to meet each cat where theyโ€™re at in terms of how they want to interact.โ˜ฎ๏ธ While I love helping cats, helping people is really important to me too! I am a licensed social worker & a certified end of life pet doula. I have the ability to connect with diverse groups of people & am very open minded, flexible, and understanding. I believe that cat guardians are the expert on their cats and Iโ€™d be delighted to support you and provide care to your feline family members!

Hi there, my name is Matt and Iโ€™m a cat dad and all-around animal lover. The first cat I adopted (or adopted me) was when he sauntered into my house in 2006 and decided to stay. Since then, my wife and I have adopted 3 more cats and I have experience with kittens, adults, and senior cats for over 20 years with our own cats, and through several recent years of volunteering & fostering for local shelters. In addition to my love for cats and years of experience with all their quirks and behaviors, I am highly organized and a clear communicator from 15+ years spent in the corporate world managing complex global projects. In 2025, I left my corporate career behind to become a dedicated cat sitter! While you're away: cats are our family members and we want to know they are safe & happy while we travel. I had to travel quite a bit in the past for my prior career and know what itโ€™s like to be away from my cats. Itโ€™s important to have someone you fully trust caring for them. As your cat sitter, I will ensure that each detail for their care is covered before you leave. On your trip, I will provide you with plenty of updates & pictures from each visit so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your trip.Ask me about clicker training cats! I'm currently using a clicker to teach my own cats some tricks like high fives and ringing a bell. I'd be happy to try to begin training your cats during my visit! So far I've had success in teaching tricks to cats for multiple clients!Iโ€™m currently a volunteer with Barrington TNR where I care for two feral cat colonies every week. I also regularly volunteer with Tiny Life Rescue in Haddon Heights and the Community Cat Club (in their adoption center at PetSmart Cherry Hill and their new Cat Lounge in Mt Ephraim).Outside of my love for cats, I enjoy practicing yoga and jiu-jitsu, reading (mostly philosophy and sci-fi), and playing Magic: The Gathering and old-school video games. I'm also involved in a social justice-focused scholarship program at my undergrad alma mater, TCNJ.If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and your cats!
